RescindX Productions is proud to present the Nordic Thunder Strongman Invitational. Taking place in Belleville, in conjuction with the Healthy Living Expo, this event will feature two days of top Ontario strongmen going head-to-head in battle. Amateurs and Law Enforcement/Fire/Military personnel will also showcase their strength in preludes to the main event. RATING: Intermediate to Pro, Amateur & LE/Fire/Military/Corrections

DATE: Saturday April 28th and Sunday April 29th, 2012

TIME: Intermediate/Pro - Sat/Sun 1 PM to 4 PM, Amateur/LE/Fire/Military- 10 AM to 12:30 PM Sat & Sun

VENUE: Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre, Wally Dever Arena, 265 Cannifton Rd, Belleville ON

SANCTIONED:  OSA

  • Log Press for max
  • Farmer's Walk - 150' course, 75 seconds
  • Car Squat - max reps, 75 seconds
  • Car Deadlift Hold - straps allowed
  • Viking Press - max reps, 75 seconds
  • Atlas Stones - 75 seconds

  • Log Press for reps - choice of 220 / 250 lb log (one rep with 250 lb beats any reps with 220 lb)
  • Atlas Stones for reps - choice of 255 / 300 lb stone (one rep with 300 lb beats any reps with 255 lb)
