Been asked about the heavy caber again. It is much like a fingals finger if no one picks it. The idea is that it starts very long and very tall. Starts with the max weight. If no one picks with the first weight it goes to fingals finger. If anyone picks it up at the heaviest weight then we stay with picks. We then cut one foot off for every round until everyone has picked it.
If you want to see a pick look up caber toss. The pick refers to pick up prior to flip on the standard caber toss. Heavy caber is a much older event and seldom done due lack of length of wood. We've got the length so we go heavy.

A few more guys signed up. Still lots of room for the men and women's shows. We are training weekly in Innisfil for those that want to try out the implements.

Innisfil is up by Barrie?
OSM less than 231
2nd place CSM less than 231

Power is only given to those who are willing to lower themselves to pick it up.

I want to throw out a quick thank you to Sean, Grant and all the athletes for good time I had. The weather sucked but Sean had a great back up plan under the pavilion.

I second Mike's sentiment. I really enjoy going out there to compete.
