2nd Annual event and this year the entire town is getting behind it. Town council specifically asked me to put this show on again (like there was ever a doubt I would).

There will be both Men's and Women's divisions. Limit of 20 total competitors, minimum of 8 in each category. Priority will be given to SW Ontario and last year's competitors first.

Registration: $40 per athletes. Must give organizers a T-Shirt size along with the money or I will guess your size and you have to wear that shirt regardless of if it fits.

Registration Deadline: May 31th, 2015.

Minimum Cash Prizes - same for both men and women.
1st Place - Trophy & $160
2nd Place - $80
May increase with a full slate of athletes and extra sponsor support.
Additional prizes of supplements and apparel company discount cards will be announced soon.

The events will be split between two locations at the festival.

Location 1: Municipal Lot, 10:30-12:30, Log & Car Deadlift
Location 2: Market Street Park Ball Diamond, 1:30-3:30, CDB, WOB, & Loading Race.

Athletes must arrive for pre-event registration no later than 10AM.

Max Log:
Women - 10" Log, starting at 80# w/ 10# increments
Men - 12 3/4" Log, starting at 200# w/20# increments

Car Deadlift:
Women - 280-330# target range
Men - 580-620# target range

Circus DB:
Women - ~70lbs
Men - ~150lbs

Weight over the Bar
Women - 28#
Men - 56#

Loading Race
Women - 80# Keg, 100# Keg, 110# Atlas Stone, 140# Sandbag
Men - 160# Keg, 180# Atlas Stone, 200# Keg, 240# Sandbag

We're on the verge of May, still a long way out from the registration due date but I have yet to get any interest from the Strongwoman community in the Baconfest event. If I don't have some ladies at least send me messages or post their interest/commitment by the end of the week, I will be force to cancel the event. I can't put resources into a division that may not come to fruition. That said, I want it to happen so please do consider coming out.
